1. Acceptance of Terms

By inviting ConfTag to your Discord server, accessing the web dashboard at conftag.pro, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please remove the bot from your server and discontinue use of the dashboard immediately.

These terms apply to all users, server administrators, and any other parties who interact with ConfTag in any capacity.

2. Description of Service

ConfTag is a Discord bot and companion web dashboard that provides:

• Automatic guild tag detection and role assignment based on Discord's primary guild API
• Server moderation tools including bans, kicks, timeouts, warnings, and case tracking
• AutoMod filters for invite links, external URLs, banned words, excessive caps, and mention spam
• Member registration systems (captcha and form-based)
• Music playback via Lavalink and SoundCloud integration
• Temporary voice channel creation and management
• Server configuration backup and restore
• A web dashboard for configuration and log review

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use ConfTag, in accordance with Discord's own Terms of Service. Server administrators who configure ConfTag must be at least 13 years old. By using this service you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ConfTag to:

• Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm other Discord users
• Violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
• Attempt to exploit, reverse-engineer, or circumvent any part of the bot or dashboard
• Use the service for spam, mass DMs, or any automated abusive behaviour
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other servers' data or configuration
• Use the service for any illegal purpose under applicable law

We reserve the right to ban any guild or user from ConfTag at our sole discretion if we determine that these terms are being violated.

5. Service Availability

ConfTag is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee 100% uptime or uninterrupted availability. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or unforeseen outages. We are not liable for any disruption or loss of functionality.

6. Intellectual Property

All code, assets, branding, and content associated with ConfTag are the property of the ConfTag development team. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from ConfTag's source code, branding, or documentation without explicit written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

ConfTag is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or meet your specific requirements. Your use of the service is entirely at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ConfTag and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or damage to reputation.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
