Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By inviting ConfTag to your Discord server or using the ConfTag dashboard at conftag.pro, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service. These terms apply to all users, server administrators, and members who interact with the bot.
2. Description of Service
ConfTag is a Discord bot and companion web dashboard that provides moderation tools, tag systems, auto-moderation, server guard, engagement features (giveaways, reaction roles, levels), and configuration management. The service is provided free of charge and may be modified or discontinued at any time.
3. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for all use of ConfTag within your server. You must comply with Discord's Terms of Service (discord.com/terms) and Community Guidelines. You may not use ConfTag to harass, harm, or discriminate against users, to send spam or unsolicited messages, to collect personal data beyond what is necessary for moderation, or to violate any applicable law or regulation.
4. Data Collection and Storage
ConfTag stores data necessary to operate its features, including: server configuration settings, moderation case records (warnings, bans, mutes), tag content, user IDs associated with moderation actions, message IDs for reaction roles and giveaways, and invite tracking statistics. We do not sell, rent, or share this data with third parties. Data is retained as long as the bot remains in your server. You may request deletion by removing the bot from your server; configuration data will be purged upon request.
5. Prohibited Uses
You may not use ConfTag to: automate actions that violate Discord's policies, conduct raids or coordinated harassment, manipulate invite tracking or giveaway entries fraudulently, reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the bot token or API credentials, or create derivative bots based on ConfTag's codebase without permission.
6. Service Availability
ConfTag is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uptime, and the service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen circumstances. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service unavailability.
7. Intellectual Property
All code, designs, logos, and content associated with ConfTag are the property of the ConfTag team. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the service without explicit written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ConfTag and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months (which is zero, as ConfTag is free).
9. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes through our support server or dashboard.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Turkey.
